About Attorney Chris Hillman

Chris Hillman is an associate at The Stephens Law Firm.

Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and received his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. During his first year of law school, he was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest grade in Contracts Law.  During his final year of law school, he was a member of the Southern Trial Advocacy Board, serving as part of the team which became 1 of 4 finalists of the National Labor and Employment Law trial advocacy competition in New York.

Prior to becoming an associate of the Stephens Law Firm, Chris served in-house counsel for Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) handling various matters pertaining to insurance defense litigation, personal injury, and insurance coverage disputes. Chris also has prior experience handling matters for local small businesses and entrepreneurs, providing services such as contract drafting, contract review, and consultations on various issues regarding organizational structure, policies, and compliance.
